Toronto Antique & Vintage Market and Toronto Vintage Clothing Show

February 4, 2019 (Toronto, ON)  Over 120 vendor booths will cover 58,000 sq./ft. at the 9th edition of Toronto’s biggest vintage event.  Held under one roof, the Toronto Antique & Vintage Market and the Toronto Vintage Clothing Show, return to Exhibition Place on March 2nd and March 3rd (Saturday 10am-5pm and Sunday 10am-4pm) in a new location for 2019—Hall C at the Enercare Centre (100 Princes’ Blvd).

Show Manager Catherine Knoll says, “Vintage clothing and antiques vendors have been reporting that this has been an extraordinarily fruitful winter.”  Closets and storerooms that have been carefully guarded for decades have suddenly been opened and emptied.  “It’s the Marie Kondo effect,” states Knoll, referring to the Japanese star of the Netflix hit show about decluttering your home.  “The result has been an unprecedented flow back into the marketplace.  From antique and vintage furnishings to vintage clothing, our vendors report that they are seeing many, many remarkable pieces popping up – so thank you Marie Kondo!” laughs Knoll.

Knoll went on to explain that visitors will most definitely discover the usual – unusual pieces that catch our eye and that inventory on the show floor will be diverse but will include antiques, mid-century modern, barware and kitchenware from the 1950’s, furniture, vintage typewriters, textiles, European furnishings, artwork and maps plus Canada’s largest selection and sale of vintage clothing, accessories and jewelry.
