Finding Laughter in the Mundane: “Mommy, I’m Boring” by Gabe Koury
If you know The Mob, you know that we love comedy. I mean we LOVE comedy. It’s how this whole network of blogs started with Mobtreal.com.
Recently, we just listened to the jokes of Toronto comedian Gabe Koury. Originally from Montreal, QC Gabe Koury is a Toronto comedian with a silly and sometimes gross take on observational humour. Think if a pitchfork music reviewer worked part time at a skate-shop.
“Mommy, I’m Boring” is an exploration of the ordinary, transforming everyday experiences into laugh-out-loud moments. With his distinctive style and sharp wit, Koury invites listeners into his world, where even the most mundane situations become ripe with comedic potential.
Koury has the ability to find humor in the seemingly banal aspects of life. From the trials and tribulations of COVID to the most random impersonations, Koury’s humour is both relatable and funny.
