Leave it to one of Vogue’s own to stop us all in our tracks. Strapped and cuffed into a pair of tower high white and silver pumps, Sally Singer flaunts a pair of brand new Nicholas Kirkwood’s for Rodarte. The image alone generated enough excitement since Kirkwood’s last season with the sisters.
Sticking to his signature structured shoe, Kirkwood fabricates Art Deco skyscrapers donned with ball bearings and fur, and with that creates a fleet of Godzilla-esque fashionistas wanting to stand on top of it all.
It’s no doubt that this British cobbler has captured the attention of some pretty important people, the former being one of them, but whispers about him being the new Louboutin makes me weak in the knees, but uh not too weak to walk.
Strap me in, they can go right beside my Louboutin’s in my dream book.
