42 THINGS. 8 DAYS. 1 PASS. JFL42 is featuring 42 of the most hilarious, riveting, and/or awesome things they could pack into an 8-day period in Toronto. JFL42 is an interactive festival. They’re trying something really new – by interacting in real-time with pass-holders, JFL42 will be a Festival that can grow, adapt and take on a life of its own.
Your Smartphone is Your Pass
Your phone is your ticket to get into the shows. It’s your reservation system. It’s your itinerary. It’s your check-in system. It’s how we’ll contact you for updates. It’s how you’ll contact the 42. It’s how you’ll contact a cab to get you home at the end of the night. IT’S MORE IMPORTANT THAN LIFE ITSELF.
Getting In
Depending on the pass you bought, you should have either 4 or 8 credits. You can use these credits to reserve a spot at the show you want to see. Think of them as little gnomes that keep your seat warm until you arrive. But make sure to get there on time, those little suckers will give up your spot to the first cute pixie they see if you keep ‘em waiting too long! Passes are non-transferable, so no switcheroos. IDs will be checked.
Bonus!!
If you want to cheat the system and get unlimited credits (and go to an unlimited amount of shows), make sure you check in to the show when you get there. You’ll get your credit back and you’ll impress your friends by being somewhere really cool.
