Gina Zollman has traded business suits for bold songs—and the gamble is paying off big. The singer-songwriter just earned a Josie Music Award nomination for Vocalist of the Year (Adult Contemporary) and dropped her most daring album yet, Originals.

This isn’t a safe record—it’s 17 tracks of raw storytelling, biting wit, and fearless genre-mashing. Jazz-pop slides into adult contemporary, folk edges against cabaret, and Zollman’s voice ties it all together with honesty that feels both unpolished and deeply intentional.

“Originals is the most honest work I’ve ever done,” Zollman says. “To be nominated in such a strong field—and at this stage in my journey—just feels unreal.”

Longtime collaborator Kevin Fisher helped sculpt the album, which brims with standouts like “Any Road You Choose,” “Heartbreak Highway,” “You,” and “Garden Grove, California.” Each song feels like a chapter in Zollman’s ongoing reinvention.

Her live show, ORIginaLS, doubles down on that energy. Equal parts concert, memoir, and confessional, the one-woman cabaret performance has been pulling standing ovations from Hollywood to Palm Desert. It’s not just entertainment—it’s a reminder that vulnerability can be electric.

This fall, the journey comes full circle when Zollman steps into the spotlight at the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashvillefor the Josie Awards—proof that it’s never too late to throw out the old script and write a new one.
