Master of Arts in FASHION!?
There has been a large void in Masters programs offered by Canadian schools. Nothing has been fashion related! Those looking for further education in the field of fashion have been forced to either do a certificate program at a college or head abroad.
No longer.
Ryerson University, one of the top undergraduate fashion schools in the world, has just announced the launch of Canada’s first Master of Arts degree in Fashion which will begin in the fall of 2010. The two year inter-disciplinary research and studio program will offer both core theoretical and practical courses including an internship program.
A great education and related work experience? It’s even better than we thought.
An information session is scheduled for Wednesday Dec. 9th, 6-8:00 pm, 40 Gould Street, Room KHS 53. Please RSVP to stullio@ryerson.ca if you can attend.
Good luck to all interested!
