Art is G.O.O.D…GET OVER IT

Well first thing is first, happy Friday everyone!

Yes, we know you thought it would never come, but it did and it brought you smiles to go with it.

But Friday also brought you was a great little art opening, well Friday brought it to you if you live in Toronto, sorry, London, Berlin, NYC and everywhere else.

Today, Torontonians will be treated to Show & Tell Gallery’s opening of GET OVER IT. A group showing featuring Greg Lamarche, Greg Gossel and Steve Powers. This is a pretty special show, that we over at CHEEKMagazine.com are very, very excited for. If you remember back in Issue 8, our ART story, by Ed White,  “3 Artists, 3 Perspectives” featured Steve Powers, aka ESPO.

So this group show, is definitely right up our alley, and yours too if you have a thing for iconography and typography. These three guys know what they are doing.

The aim of the show is to validate the importance of  ‘outsider’ art the gallery aesthetic. So ‘Get Over It’ and get to the opening tonight.

The show will run from July 10, 2009 to August 9, 2009
